Office 365 is the cloud-based collection of the latest Microsoft Office programs that is available to organisations and individuals as a subscription-based service. It incorporates Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access in addition to other features. Microsoft recently changed the name of their Office 365 product to Microsoft 365.

It is not necessary to purchase each of the services in the 365 suite, there are customisable plans available, which can be tailored to the individual needs of a company. This means that money isn’t wasted on software users don’t need. There are currently seven packages to choose from.

Encrypted email, multi-factor authentication, data loss protection and excellent threat analytics are just some of the online security features that come as part of the package. These are essential for companies who need to protect client and company data. With the rise of remote working and working from home, data security is an ever-increasing concern and Microsoft understand the need for high-level security. Remote mobile device management is also available, enabling software and files to be removed from a device remotely.
